Diaper Dermatitis
Dermaguard for Diaper Dermatitis
- Dermaguard protects the skin from allergens in plastics, latex, bleach and adhesives in diapers
- it reduces the proliferation of bacteria and is therefore also suitable for preventing intertrigo
- it lasts up to 4 hours, no need for a new application after washing
- it gives the skin time to regenerate
When and How to Use Dermaguard
Dermaguard is used preventively, before the skin enters an acute state of inflammation. It can also be used when initial symptoms, such as slightly reddened and irritated skin, occur. Do not use the cream on acute red, inflamed, swollen or cracked areas. Such conditions should be treated first and the cream should only be used on soothed skin. This will prevent the problem from recurring. Dermaguard can be used on any part of the body, except the mucous membranes. Dermaguard is not primarily intended for children. It contains propylparaben and is not recommended for use in the diaper area of babies under 6 months old.
